One way I love to express my creativity is with my nails! It’s always fun to try new colors & designs. This past week I got inspired by my shoes J Saw my red soles figured why not on my nails. Christian Louboutin nails! If you can’t have the shoes sport the nails.

DIY: Studded Collar Shirt

I’ve always been intrigued by all you crafty girls that DIY fashion items. So this rainy weekend in Los Angeles, figured it was a perfect time to start on my project! J

First off pick the color and size studs you want. Got mine from mjtrim.com they have some great options! Find a shirt that fits your personality. Then the placement of the studs. All around the collar as I did or just on the edges. You will need to punch in the stud, and bend the backings as you can see in the pictures above. Overall my shirt turned out great! I will take a picture of my outfit once I wear it! My next project will be some gloves, excited!!

If you know me by now, and as you can see on my postings..Im a shoeaholic. When I saw these I instantly fell in love. I don't know what it is about me and leopard & studs.They are the highest pair of shoes I own but I LOVE THEM! Unfortunately Kandee Shoes is a UK brand so getting my hands on these was a little tuff. But with some help it happened. Cant wait to see what else they come up with, always love finding new shoe brands with a different look.

Red Bottoms

There is something about the red bottoms that drives me crazy. The minute I became a fashionista my dream was to own a pair of the lovely Louboutin’s. Once I was able to afford them, my addiction did not stop! Ooop! Lol But my greatest joy is finding a pair on sale!! Seeing that pair that you once wanted at 40-50% off is a girls dream. Christian Louboutin definitely makes a sexy shoe! From all the pairs I own these new booties are one of my favorite. Comfortable, sexy and mesh see thru makes them so lovely! My favorite web sites to look for sales are definitely Net-a-porter.com , theoutnet.com and from time to time ur Saks or Niemans will have them on sale. Good luck and enjoy!

The Blazer

Yup they change an outfit, in so many ways. I can honestly say if you’re having a fashion crisis always remember a blazer can save your life.  My love for pairing them with short, jeans, skirts started a long time ago. A white V-neck, jeans, black blazer and some lovely high heels and your set! Outfit is done!  This is one investment you will be happy to make. 

Ladies these days its not just for the corporate world or office. Pair it with some pretty jewelry and you can wear this to the club, dinner or even just a casual evening. Try buying a pop color for Spring, a hot pink or red! Here are some of my favorite looks for “The Blazer”.

Finally found the stickers, in love

First off, sorry haven’t blogged in a while. Not that many may be following me YET! :) Been doing some traveling for work, but im back in LA.

Today while browsing thru my favorite blogs, caught myself looking at Studded Hearts, blog piece on a woman with a serious collection. Ok some may say it’s an obsession, I myself think all my fabulous pieces are investments! lol Yup, investments, if you take care of them they last for years, and at one point will be vintage. You can turn around and make some mula. Yes maybe in my crazy head that’s how I convince myself.

While looking at her pictures, I thought to myself...Gabriela Tamayo you are really obsessed! How does one own so many Chanel pieces, im all about Chanel. I think Gabrielle "Coco" Chanel is one of the most fascinating woman to date. And did you get it, her name is also Gabrielle! Her motto was always to incorporate elegance, class and originality. Something I take to heart. No matter what you wear if you think it may not be something someone else may be wearing, try it out and own your originality.

Hello World,

This past weekend I was in Las Vegas with friends & loved ones. I haven’t been in so long but we all have an idea of what Vegas is about. I will just say “A whole lot of things” lol J The one thing I did see was bad etiquette from woman. To me no matter what,  it is NEVER ok to take off your shoes on the streets or clubs. Let’s keep it real ladies, we don’t know what has been on the floor. With that said today I read some rules on Etiquette for ladies, what a perfect day to read these. Here are my top 5 favorite ones. Promise to start blogging more about fashion and my daily outfits, im excited to share just have to get it all together. Have a fabulous week!

For most of you that know me, you know im a shoeaholic. I can’t remember the last time I counted all my shoes. There is a reason to my madness, being some are old and some are new. About two weeks ago I found an old pair of Manolo's I bought over 8 years ago. At first I thought to myself, why the heck did I ever buy orange pumps? But there was a reason. Orange will be the HOT color for spring. My tip is don’t keep all your shoes, recycle and revamp your collection. And trust me my shoes are all not Louboutin's. I told myself I would get rid of an old pair for every new I bought...ok ok I haven’t really kept up with it but it was a good though J. And for the ladies that do one day want to own a pair of those fancy shoes. I’d say instead of having 10 pairs of $50-100 shoes save your mula and invest in a pair that are a splurge and will last you for years to come. Pics are of some that I adore and think are basic styles we all should have in our closets.

Ps. Yes the last pair is just an extra..but do Love!

What can I say im a fashionista, always been since I was a little girl. People always ask me where I shop? what im wearing? and I guess being that ive worked in the fashion industry for over 12 years I should be up to date on  what im wearing. My biggest AMOR has been shoes, since a very young age ive been obsessed with high heels. What can I say my madre taught me well! jaja.
